Mass Bioblitz of the Horsforth Nature Corridor
Join us for a family friendly Mass Bioblitz of the Horsforth Nature Corridor on Saturday 20th June.
Our BioBlitz is an open family friendly event where people work together to record as many plants and animals as possible in a set area and time. No experience needed — curiosity encouraged!
We will have spotter sheets, or you can download the iNaturalist App onto your phone and record your findings that way. Full instructions, demonstrations and tips for recording will be provided. You can find out more about the iNaturalist App and how to use it in our blog post.
The event runs from 12:00 – 3:00pm. You can stay for the whole event, or just drop in for a little bit.
We will be meeting at Church Lane Car Park at 12:00pm (next to St Margaret’s Church) What3Words ///frogs.fits.vague
We will then make our way down the corridor spotting as we go. You can meet up with us at various points along the way. Have a look at the programme for the afternoon.
Everyone is welcome to take part! Families, beginners, and experienced nature-lovers are all very welcome. All activities are relaxed and supported.
Please wear suitable footwear and bring a phone (if using apps), curiosity, and enthusiasm!
