The new Horsforth Climate Action Thermal Imaging Camera scheme will equip Horsforth residents with a unique tool to identify where their homes are losing heat and where they can improve insulation. It’s not just about saving money—though it certainly helps—it’s about making our community a greener, more sustainable place to live.

With our thermal imaging camera, you can borrow cutting-edge technology to visually uncover heat escape points in your home. Whether it’s drafty windows or poorly insulated walls, the camera reveals it all in vivid colors. By pinpointing specific areas that need attention, you can target your improvements, reduce energy consumption, and lower your heating bills effectively.
How Can You Participate?

Volunteer with Us
In order to make it happen, we’re seeking enthusiastic volunteers to help manage this exciting project. Opportunities include:
- Camera Loan Coordination: Help manage the booking and handover of the thermal imaging camera.
- Video Tutorial Creation: Produce helpful guides on how to use the camera and interpret its images.
- Community Follow-Up: Engage with participants post-use to document and learn from their energy-saving modifications.
