Horsforth Climate Action Green Festival
Sunday 21st September 2025 11:30am-3:30pm, Horsforth Hall Park
Celebrating three years of Horsforth Climate Action our Green Festival a day of sustainability, community, engagement and fun. Working closely with Friends of Horsforth Hall Park, our community members and other local organisations, the festival took places on Sunday 21st September, you can read more about it in our blog post.
Enter our produce show including adult and child categories. Mixed veg or fruit basket, weirdest fruit or vegetable, and a potato head competition for the kids!
Amplified performance area powered by Road Block Sound System, a cycle-powered, off grid sound system
Local bands, choirs and performance artists
Performances from 3 bands from LS18 Rocks, Horsforth Music School, Love Pop Choir Cookridge, plus climate poetry from Horsforth School.
Come and join in with the Sound Garden. Ten interactive musical sculptures crafted from repurposed industrial objects, the garden invites people of all ages and skill levels to explore sound and create melodies.
Stalls from local groups and businesses
Information stalls, artists and makers stalls, local friends of groups, shopping, and much more!
Our ever popular repair cafe will be running a pop up repair cafe at the festival.
Enter our mindfulness area with Free Yoga Taster sessions and Sound Bath. Sapling planting with Friends of Horsforth Hall Park and Horsforth Town Council.
Bike Fix and free secure pop up bike parking
Bike fix stall run by Kovrlija and Co. West Yorkshire Police will also be providing Bike marking and advice on cycle security. Free secure bike parking will also be available.
Join us for our Fruit and Vegetable Green Festival parade. Make a mask or a headdress on the theme of fruit and veg and join us in our walking parade around the park.
Apple pressing with Leeds Urban Harvest
Our annual apple day will take place at the festival. Bring along your excess apples to add to the juicing pile. Don’t forget your container to take away some fresh juice!

All food waste from the festival will be taken by a local small business, Plate 2 Plate Compost
