FRIENDS OF HUNGER HILLS WOODS

Friends of Hunger Hills Woods are an active, well-established community group. Working in partnership with Leeds City council, their volunteers care for and maintain the beautiful ‘bluebell woods’. Throughout the year they hold various events, from bat watches to fungi forays. Volunteer working parties are held regularly to undertake woodland maintenance tasks – from coppicing to path clearing and bird boxes to balsam bashing! They are always looking for new members, so if you like being outdoors, in beautiful woodland and enjoy a good chat with like minded people, why not join them!
