Horsforth Green Festival 2026: Music, Dance, Mindfulness and Creative Workshops
Music is at the heart of Horsforth Green Festival, with Reaction Soundsystem’s bike-powered stage hosting performances from local acts including LS18 Rocks bands, Strokes of Genius and others.
On the Bandstand, visitors can enjoy performances from the likes of Foxwood Steel Pans and Love Pop Choir, as well as dancing from the Rhinestones Dance Academy alongside local Morris Dancers, bringing a mix of contemporary and traditional to the festival.
We are thrilled to welcome back the unique Orchestra of Objects that will welcome festival-goers with interactive music-making using reclaimed materials. Keep your eyes peeled for local workshops at Stocked ahead of the festival to make your own reuse instrument.
This year, Horsforth Green Festival also offers free creative workshops, giving families and residents the opportunity to get hands-on, learn new skills and explore sustainability through art, making and creative activities. Brave Words will be hosting drop-in drama and storytelling workshops themed around local animals. Madame Zucchini will be facilitating a vegetable-themed show – with interactive dancing – and a craft workshop. Our ‘Trashion’ parade will wrap up the day, in partnership with Leeds Women’s Aid.
For those seeking a relaxing experience, the Japanese Garden will be a dedicated mindfulness space, offering sound baths with Crystal Booth and free yoga taster sessions from Cafe Yoga throughout the day.
Yoga Taster sessions from Cafe Yoga will run at 1:30pm and 2:30pm. Book your place on the Cafe Yoga website
The PAYF sound baths with Crystal Booth will run at 11:30am and 1:30pm.
