When and where
Horsforth Climate Action Saturdays take place on the 1st Saturday of the month, from 1-30pm until 4pm at St Margaret’s Church, alongside the Repair Cafe which takes place in the Parish Centre. Church Lane, Horsforth, Leeds LS18 5LA.
What
HCA Saturdays host activities on a different theme every month. They are a place for information gathering and conversation, with like-minded people and those who just want to come and find out what it’s all about. Members of HCA Steering Group are always there and it’s a golden opportunity to come and chat with us face to face.
Themes have included ECO threads, Apple day, Green Gardening Fair, Active Travel, littering and pollution.
What we want people to do
Just come along, see what’s happening and get involved. You can find each month’s theme on our social media (links..) and in the Newsletter. You can also look for the posters in Horsforh Library, at Morrisons and various places around Horsforth.
Call for volunteers
We always love people to help with HCA Saturdays on the day or beforehand. Tasks can include help with planning and organisation, meet and greet, helping with art activities and general event support.
We would also love to hear from you if you have an idea for a theme, or would like to ‘take over’ a Saturday with a theme and activities linked to our aims.
How to get involved
Follow our social media and sign up to our Newsletter.
