Clothes Swap and Mend in Public Day
Mend In Public Day is a day of collective action which falls within Fashion Revolution Week.
The idea is simple: get out into your local community and stitch in protest against disposable fashion.
Mend in Public Day stands as a beacon of change in a world inundated with fashion waste. By participating. you’ll be part of a global creative action resisting the cycle of excess through repair and reuse.
So bring some clothes to swap and/or bring to mend, grab a coffee and have a relaxing Saturday morning with us! There will be the lovely Jax and Marianne (@forminfabric) to help with mending!
Our usual Clothes Swap rules will apply – bring up to 5 pieces of good quality items and take up to 5. No jumble, underwear, swimwear or pyjamas please.”
